Sewage drain nuisance for SITE area workers

KARACHI  - Sindh Industrial and Trading Estate (SITE) area residents and workers have appealed to the Nazim Karachi to take stock of encroachment of a storm water drain in the area. The concerned citizens here on Wednesday said consequent choking of this drain was a cause of severe hardships to the people in general and neighbouring industries, their workers, motorists and pedestrians in particular.

The drain encroached upon by a known “Masala” company was said to have, otherwise too, emerged as a major threat for precious human-lives during monsoons.

“Ironically owners of the company, in connivance of corrupt officials, have even managed to get it leased in their favour, as Plot Number B-79,” complained Abdul Raziq.
