Terrorists remind of Karbala tragedy: Altaf
Published: February 07, 2010
KARACHI - MQM chief Altaf Hussain has said that terrorists have reminded us of the brutalities of the Yazidi army in the tragic event of Karbala by attacking the mourners of Ahl-e-Bait and Imam Hussain (RA) and martyring them on the occasion of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).
Addressing the religious scholars from various schools of thought Altaf said the time demands that by keeping in view the selfless sacrifices of Ahl-e-Bait, women and children of the family of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and martyrs of Karbala was all for the regeneration of Islam.
The real ugly faces of suicide attackers and terrorists should be exposed to the general public by telling them about the fortifications and hidden places where such barbarians are living. It must also be known that who is patronising them and under whose support, command and shelter these brutal elements are playing with the blood of innocent and harmless people.
Altaf said: “We should tear apart the blanket of disguise and deception and the Ulema must play their due role in eliminating terrorism. They can help in exposing the real culprits behind such inhuman and most heinous crimes against the humanity, Islam and Pakistan.”
