Huge funds earmarked for youth programmes

KARACHI - A huge amount is to be allocated for the youth development programme in forthcoming financial year in Sindh. Four thousand youngsters will be provided jobs abroad after getting modern and technical training by the government, said Nargis ND Khan, Sindh Minister of Social Welfare Department.

Talking to The Nation, she said that the previous governments had ignored the youth, but the present government had taken initiatives to make them skillful and provide them more opportunities for building their carriers.

She also said that the government had given priority for the youth development, however, the '5E' programme is under process.
