US donates multimedia equipment to Pilot Schools

Karachi - The US consulate in Karachi has donated multimedia equipment including VCD player and TV sets and other articles for primary education, Montessori and Kinder Garden in the two Pilot Project Schools situated in Liaquatabad and SITE town, The Nation learnt on Monday.

Informed sources said that the VCD players, TV sets and materials including puzzles, charts, flash cards, CDs and other things have been donated by the American Consulate to Committee for Monitoring and Improvement in Schools (CMIS), who runs the Pilot Project in CDGK schools.

It may be noted that starting early childhood education, Montessori and Kinder Education on advance basis first time is going to be initiated in the CDGK runs schools and these classes would be established in the already developed Pilot Project schools in Liaqatabad and SITE town.
