Call made to restore 4,000 KESC employees

KARACHI - Employees Power League (EPL) has urged the KESC management to restore the 4 thousand contract employees without any ‘bias’.

These views were expressed by the participants of a moot held here Friday.

Chairman EPL, Siddiqu Baloch, President Sabir Hussein Jeffery, General Secretary Syed Hussein Shah and General Secretary Pakistan Muslim League Labour wing, Syed Zulfiqar Shah addressed the moot.

They claimed that the company’s CEO had fired the contract employees of the distribution and billing department on 31stOctober. Out of these employees, the favoured people had been repainted on their posts.

While a huge amount of these employees is still waiting for their restoration. The management has continually rejected the appeals regarding the matter of restoration of all the expelled employees.
