Fish transporters and traders call off strike

KARACHI - The fish traders and transporters, who carry fish trash from Karchi Fish Harbour (KFH) for manufacturing poultry feed located in Ibrahim Hydri ended their protest after successful negotiation with provincial Transport Minister Akhter Jadoon, said Fishermen Cooperative Society (FCS) spokesman Abuzer Mariwala.

The transporters continued their agitation in the second consecutive day on Wednesday where they staged a protest demonstration at the KFH. They also parked their vehicles at KFH and blocked the adjoining roads since the first day of their agitation, causing the people associated with the fish industry suffered a lot.
