Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER October 8, 2008

Abuzer Mariwal FCS spokesman told The Nation that the transporters had ended their agitation after getting assurance by the provincial minister to fulfill their problem during the negotiation. He expressed that the protesters had presented their demands before the minister, who convinced them to withdraw from their agitation by decreasing their transportation time from 1:00 am to 10:00.

He also informed that the provincial minister ordered to DIG traffic police Wajid Durani to allow the transporters to carry their items via Mai Kolachi from 10:00.
