CDGK to amend food bylaws

KARACHI - City District Government Karachi has decided to make amendments in the food bylaws to make them more effective and in accordance to present requirements.

This was decided in a meeting of health department chaired by City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal on Monday. EDO Health Dr. A.D Sajnani, officers of health department and food inspectors attended the meeting.

Nazim Karachi on this occasion gave approval to the amended food bylaws under which new licenses will be issued after the cancellation of all existing food licenses. Besides the Health department will also take strict action against the violators which would include imposition of fines and other punishments.
