3 political workers among six killed

KARACHI - As many as six people, including three political activists belonging to different parties, were shot dead in separate incidents on Sunday, said the police officials.

As per details, Rasheed 55 and his son Gulzar, 25, were targeted within the jurisdiction of Malir City Police Station. DSP Nisar Qaimkhani told the newsmen that the deceased were sitting at their shop situated in the premises of their house at Ammar Yasir Society, that four armed persons, riding two motorcycles, opened indiscriminate fire on them and managed to escape.

The official said that the deceased were the activists of MQM and their murder was a target killing, adding that the culprits used pistols in the incident.
