There has been huge hue and cry among different circles regarding the matter of electricity cut of KWSB. It is worth mentioning that the company owns Rs 6 billion of KESC. The company is already facing great financial losses, now another utility like the water and sewerage shows the lack of civic sense among the government-supported organisation.
It is worth noting that the current bill of electricity of KWSB is Rs 200 million. Out of this payable amount of bill, the KWSB has paid Rs 100 million. The board is still the defaulter of Rs 100 million of KESC.
