Faheem to take oath as senior federal minister

They said that top party leadership including Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani had asked Makhdooam Amin Faheem to join the federal cabinet as senior minister.

The sources added that PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari nominated Yousuf Raza Gilani as the prime minister to further strengthen the party in Punjab.

Makhdooam Amin Faheem’s son, Makhdooam Jameel, who had tendered his resignation from the ministry in Sindh government, has also re-joined the provincial cabinet.

When contacted, Makhdooam Amin Faheem, was not available confirm the news.
