September 13, 2008 He approached Larkana Bench of SHC, which on January 18, 2008 ordered to maintain status quo with direction to respondent not to cancel petitioner’s admission till further order.
But, Principal allegedly passed defamatory remarks for apex court as petitioner contacted him. He apprehended his admission could be cancelled.
Petitioner’s counsel stated he will be satisfied with disposal of petition in terms that petitioner will submit his reply to show cause notice, if any, within seven days. After this, he will be afforded proper opportunity of hearing by college Principal/ Admission Committee before passing any order on basis of show cause notice.
SHC division bench comprising Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali & Justice Salman Ansari disposed of contempt petition in same terms as petitioner’s counsel did not further press it.
It directed respondents to decide this matter within one month from date of this order and during this period petitioner-student will be allowed to attend college.
