Rich tributes paid to Hazrat Khadija (AS)

Addressing the seminar, Senator Allama Abbas Kumaili said that Hazrat Khadija (AS) rendered great sacrifices for the cause of Islam. He said, during his years in Makkah, Hazrat Khadija (AS) was the main pillar of support for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). She was the first one to embrace Islam, which was the testimony of the Prophet’s character that she believed in the truthfulness of Muhammad as the Messenger of Allah.

He added the Holy Prophet (PBUH) did not marry any other women during the lifetime of Hazrat Khadija (AS) in honour of her prestige. She was the only wife of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) who bore children for him.
