ISLAMABAD/LAHORE - The Foreign Office on Friday voiced its profound concern over the way Pakistani prisoners are treated in Indian jails.

"The issue has been under focus of the government at all levels and has been raised at the highest levels with the Indian side," said the Foreign Office Spokesman Muhammad Sadiq, in his comments on the arrival of two dead bodies of Pakistani prisoners from India on Friday.

The bodies of Rashida Bibi and Abdul Aleem were received at Wahga Border. Earlier, this year two Pakistanis, Khalid Mehmood and Muhammad Akram, died in Indian prisons.
