Muttahida for thaw with ST

KARACHI - A delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Thursday called on the central leadership of Ahle Sunnat at Darul Uloom Naeemia in a bid to resolve its ongoing differences with Sunni Tehreek.

The four-member delegation included MQM Rabita Committee member Waseem Aftab, provincial ministers Raza Haroon, Abdul Haseeb and MPA Shoaib Ibrahim.

President Tanzeem-ul-Madaris Ahle Sunnat, Mufti Muneebur Rehman welcomed the delegation. JUP President Sahibzada Abul Khair Mohammad Zubair, Mufti Jameel Ahmed Naeemi, Mufti Athar Naeemi, Maulana Ghulam Mohammad Sialvi and Maulana Ghulam Dastagir Afghani were also present.
