Sindh Food Department not responsible for poor quality of flour
November 14, 2008 The provincial government is not responsible for the poor quality of flour, said the Director Food in the department of Sindh here. He said that the imported wheat was supplied to the flourmills in the city after testing under the federal government. Sindh Director Food, Shafaat Hussain told Geo News that the wheat imported from Ukraine was already tested at the port by the federal government and was declared fit for human consumption. However, he said that following receipt of some complaints, the imported and federal government tested wheat was being re-examined in the laboratory at the provincial level, whose report would soon be presented before the media.
