City Council members in unison against hike in power tariff
By SYED INTIKHAB ALI October 13, 2008 KARACHI - Members of the City Council belonging to both treasury and opposition benches on Monday seriously criticised the performance of KESC and demanded to withdraw the increasing power tariff and proposed that the company should install its own turbines at town level to produce electricity.
The session was held under the chair of naib city nazim, Nasreen Jalil, to discuss the ongoing power crisis in the metropolis
