Hesco to get power from country's first alternative energy project

It was also mentioned that the AEDB facilitate the setting up of the wind farm by assisting ZEPL in leasing the land from Sindh government; development of feasibility study; tariff determination and acquisition of generation license; verification of power production numbers; and drafting, reviewing & finalization of project documents including Energy Purchase Agreement (EPA), Implementation Agreement (IA), and Measuring Protocols.

It is pertinent to mention here that the power production sector in the country need serious and substantial steps in order to over come the problem of power outages in the country.  

“Now is the high time, we should take bold steps in this field of alternative means of power production. The government should facilitate investment in the power generation sector”, said an engineer.

Meanwhile, load-shedding continues in the metropolitan as Bin Qasim provides the city with740 MWs of electricity. The KESC produced 940 MWs of this utility. 1940 MWs was the supplied electricity while the demand exceeds 2400 MWs.
