Firing sabotage ST rally; 3 injured

Tariq Mughal, spokesman for ST claimed that the personnel from the rangers had started firing on the participants of the rally and then police followed the same. The motive behind the incident is yet to be ascertained, he said.

He said that after the incident, the rally was moved towards Abdullah Shah Ghazi shrine where the numbers of participants protested. Dozens of ST workers were taken to custody but most of them were released while some others were still in detention.  To a question, he said, “To get release our men from the police station is our first priority, then we will see what to do.”
