JI holds rally to express solidarity with Dr Aafia

Participants of the rally holding JI flags chanted slogans against United States and demanded immediate release of US detained Dr Aafia.

Munawar Hassan charged those who are talking about giving safe passage to Musharraf and said that after impeachment coalition government should start his accountability. He alleged that the President violated the Constitution and he never accepted the mandate of people which they gave against him in February 18 elections. He announced that the JI would start campaign against Musharraf, PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and MQM chief Altaf Hussain against their US appeasing policies. “Despite the ruling coalition motion for the impeachment, it is sill following the dictation of United States and continued the policies of Musharraf.”
