WSF plaque unveiled
By SAADIA QAMAR November 18, 2008 KARACHI - Finally, the World Social Forum plaque was unveiled after almost two years since its inception, which took place in the city in March 2006. It had been placed at the City Sports Complex with the slogan “Another World is possible” written by John William Pervez.
As per detail, Karamat Ali, the spokesman from PILER that rounds about 40,000 people had participated the World Social Forum in 2006. The people have been encouraged to participate to enhance peace initiatives over the world.
