Candidates elected unopposed in KCCI elections

All the candidates have been elected unopposed in the elections for governing body of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). According to election commission set up for KCCI elections, 52 candidates filed papers for 30 seats of governing body among which nine were rejected during scrutiny whereas 13 candidates withdraw their nominations. Keeping in view this situation, election commission has declared that all 30 members have been elected unopposed. The election commission also announced the cancellation of polling scheduled to be held on November 22.
