Sindh Assembly approves Zardari’s nomination for president slot
August 22, 2008 The Sindh Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution putting forward PPP Co-Chairman Asif Zardari's name as a presidential candidate. Law Minister Ayaz Soomro tabled the resolution in the session today and it was later unanimously passed in the House.
