Five more children abandoned

KARACHI - Five more children have been abandoned, due to poverty, at Edhi Centre, said Abdul Sattar Edhi here on Friday.
The children include a girl, a resident of Multan, whom her mother had abandoned at the Mithadar head office of the Edhi Centre.
Rest of the four children were abandoned by their father, Mather Ali, who belonged to the Thar region of Sindh. He abandoned his children at Sohrab Goth Edhi Centre. The children are Mohammad Ali 9, Ghulam Fatima 7, Assia 5, and Zaid 2. Mather Ali a resident of Umerkot, was formerly a Hindu but later converted to Islam.
