1 killed, 2 held in encounter
Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER October 21, 2008 KARACHI - An alleged culprit involved in street crime was shot dead in police encounter here on Tuesday while his two accomplices were arrested in critical condition, said a police official.
SIU SP Gul Hameed Sammu said an encounter between police and robbers occurred near Guru Mandir Chowrangi, Jamshed Town, when the police party tried to stop a suspicious car. But the driver attempted escape from the scene and the criminals travelling in the car started firing on the police party.
