Power supply from Bin Qasim plant suspended
By SADIA SAEED August 23, 2008 KARACHI - The sufferings of the citizens have been increased as the Unit-3 of Bin Qasim power plant tripped on Friday due to which the City faces 120-megawatt of power shortage.
It is to be noted that 2455MW is the daily requirement of the City, but KESC has failed to meet this regular demand which leads to frequent unscheduled power shutdown.
