Power supply from Bin Qasim plant suspended

Sources disclosed that KESC is producing electricity through natural gas and shortage of gas has also affected the power generating capability of KESC.

More to add to consumers’ miseries, the NEPRA has allowed KESC to raise electricity charges due to the increasing oil prices.

Despite government’s consistence assurance of providing relief to the citizens, it remains uncertain.  This whole situation has left the citizens in great distress and annoyance. Public is now demanding the government that the situation should be resolved before the start of Ramazan.
