Sindh govt to import detectors worth Rs15m
By MANSOOR KHAN October 22, 2008 KARACHI - Despite huge financial crisis, Sindh government has decided to import five explosive detector machines worth Rs 15 million in lieu of security of Sindh Secretariat and Assembly, The Nation has learnt here on Wednesday.
According to the report, the decision has been taken after the raising threats of terrorism. It is pertinent to mention here that intelligence agencies have warned, several times, the officials concerned to tighten the security across the Sindh Secretariat and other government installations.
