Hours long power cuts continue unabated
Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER August 24, 2008 KARACHI - The loadshedding continued in the City in 2 to 3 hours patches during last few days.
“The new MD and chief financial officer has not yet taken the charge,” The Nation has learnt through reliable sources. Due to this vacuum in the top-level positions of KESC, the working capability is badly affected because the company is working without its MD since two months. If this condition continues the promised relief will remain present.
Meanwhile the loadshedding badly affected certain areas of the City like Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Johar, Lyari, Saddar, FB Area, Industrial Area and Malir.
