Vows made to arrest killers as Shahenshah laid to rest

The slain PPP leader and Security Chief of Bilawal House, Khalid Shahenshah was laid to rest at Azizabad graveyard near MQM headquarter, Nine-Zero here on Wednesday.
Earlier his Namaz-e-Janaza was offered at Bilawal House, which was largely attended by party leaders and workers including Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
The Namaz-e-Janaza was also attended by Provincial Ministers Dr Zulfikar Mirza, Manzooor Wassan, Zahid Bhurgari, PPP’s General Secretary Nafis Siddiqi, Advisors Gul Mohammed Jakhrani, Waqas Malik, MPA Haji Munawar Ali Abbasi, PPP leaders Khurshid Ahmed Junejo, Prof N.D. Khan, Waqar Mehdi, Faisal Raza Abidi, Abu Bhai, Saeed Ghani. A number of political leaders including Saleem Zia, Amin Khattak, Basharat Mirza and others also attended the Namaz-e-Janaza.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has termed the killing of chief security officer of Bilawal House Khalid Shahenshah as target killing.
He stated this while visiting the house of slain leader at his DHA residence on Tuesday night. He also inspected the crime scene. Sindh Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Ayaz Soomro, Advisor to CM for Political Affairs Rashid Rabbani, Special Assistant for Media Waqar Mehdi, Special Assistant Imtiaz Mallah, PPP leaders Syed Faisal Raza Abidi, Abu Bhai and Tanvir Siyal were also present on the occasion.
Talking to newsmen, the chief minister said the assassination of Khalid Shahenshah was a big tragedy for PPP, Sindh province and Pakistan. Khalid was strong force of People’s Student Federation (PSF) and he struggled as’ Jan Nisar’ worker of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed, he said. The CM recalled that Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed had called him a brave and loyal security guard like Shaheed Munawar Saharwardi. He said the killers would soon be exposed as the Sindh Home Minister had already constituted a team to probe the assassination.
