Altaf asks goverment to impose farm tax
Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER November 23, 2008 KARACHI - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that country is going through worst financial crisis. He urged the government to impose agricultural tax on feudal lord’s land to extend the tax network in the country.
He said, “If MQM come to power it will impose agriculture tax on all feudal lords and if they denied giving it, the government will seize their lands and distribute them among haris.”
