Altaf asks Nawaz to desist from confrontation

He reiterated his stance against Talibanization saying that MQM is against the all sort of extremism adding that Sindh is the land of Sufi’s and here we would not allow the conspiracy of Talibanization.

He urged the government to increase the funds for the migrants of the tribal areas, who has been migrating due to the ongoing insurgency in the tribal areas.

He appreciated the Rehman Malik and Interior Ministry efforts to provide the supports to the migrants of the tribal areas.

He denounced the suicide bomb blasts of Wah Cantt Ordinance factory in the name of Islam adding that Islam is the religion of peace and those who were involved in the brutal acts of suicide bombing are the enemy of country and religion.

Altaf directed the party workers and office bearers to collect the Zakat and Fitra during the holy month of Ramadan to support the charitable and welfare work of the KKF.

Earlier, MQM Rabita Committee member Shoaib Ahmed Bukhari announced the names of new board of trustees of the Khidmat-e-Khalq foundation (KKF) including Shoaib Ahmed Bukhari as Managing Trusty, Dr Farooq Sattar as General Secretary, Adil Siddiqui as Treasurer, and Ahmed Chunai, Dr Arshed Wohra, Haseeb Khan and Dr Waqar Kazmi as member.
