KARACHI - Despite the negligence of the administration of Ra’ana Liaquat Ali Khan Government College of Home & Economics Karachi, doctors have saved the life of a college student who had earlier faced head injury due to falling down from the college building on Friday at Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH), The Nation has learnt on Sunday.

The injured student Sana Umar has been shifted to general ward of the AKUH after being operated under the supervision of Dr Ahsan Bari. Sana was reportedly rushed to the hospital with critical head injury on Friday as she fell down from the third floor of the college building, a source in the education department said.

He said, “The college principal, Prof Rubina Hakim, was not present at the college when the incident took place. No official vehicle was present at the college to take the injured student to the hospital, while an official vehicle has already been given to the college by the education department.”
