Published: July 25, 2008

KARACHI (PPI) - Acting General Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh Hafiz Nasrullah Aziz has announced that JI would participate in protest demonstrations to be held by APDM Sindh against inflation and rise in petroleum prices on Friday.
In a statement on Thursday, Hafiz Nasrullah said that ruling coalition must fulfill its promises made with the nation rather than holding meetings and making announcements. He said that the raise in the prices of essential commodities and fares is continuity of anti-people policies of pervious government. The bombardment on people of Waziristan was aimed at earning dollars, he added. JI leader said the present government was elected by people with a heavy mandate in order to oust dictatorship and restore democracy but the rulers had failed to meet people’s expectations.
