PPP and MQM at loggerheads over Finance Ministry
By NISAR MEHDI June 25, 2008 Yet Sindh government has not announced the portfolio of Syed Sardar Ahmed who recently took oath in the provincial cabinet.
Sources informed that the PPP-led provincial government has agreed to award the office of Planning and Development to MQM parliamentary leader in the Sindh government Syed Sardar Ahmed.
It may be noted here that both offices, Finance department and Planning and Development, of the Sindh Government are working under the supervision of Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah.
