The decision to release the Indian prisoners, detained during October to December 2006 from its territorial water, was taken at the federal level. The jail administration had received a notification in this regard from the Home Ministry on Monday. According to jail officials, they were released at 11:00 am today. The fishermen released from the Malir jail were very pleased. A local non-government organization (NGO) received them after being released.
