Work on Sports Complex to start soon

He further said that the PC-1 of the project, including its model and map, has also been prepared and a Qatar-based construction company would develop the Sports Complex.

Dr Shah informed the participating young Skaters of 1st CDGK Roller Skating National Championship that an international standard Skating Rink would also be developed at the complex besides all indoor gymnasiums.

He said that the facility would also provide parking place for 2,500 vehicles at a time besides hostels to accommodate 200 athletes.

He further said that the Sports Complex would also contain an electrical swimming pool.

The minister added that a Roller Skating Rink would also be established at North Nazimabad Town in collaboration with the CDGK.

EDO Community Development Department (CDD), Rehana Saif, thanked for the cooperation of provincial sports minister in developing the Skating rink at North Nazimabad Town and assured the CDD would identify the place for this purpose. She said that cooperation between the provincial sports ministry and the CDGK would further enhance the sports facilities.
