MQM playing a tool role for establishment: Zulfiqar Mirza

Sindh Home Minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza Thursday said that Chief Justice of Pakistan has been requested to take suo motto action on the NRO cases. Addressing a press conference along with Sindh Chief Minister in Karachi, Dr. Mirza said, “Our ally (MQM) is playing the role of a tool for the establishment.” He said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) blocked roads in Karachi on May 12, 2007 on the occasion of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry’s Karachi visit. Dr Mirza questioned as to what the MQM leader Dr. Farooq Sattar was doing in prisons during Musharraf regime. “Was he (Dr. Farooq Sattar) went to prison for distributing alms or employment?” he asked.
