Eid shopping yet to gain momentum
By SAADIA QAMAR September 25, 2008 KARACHI - As the country is under the grip of suicide bombings with the current wave of suicide incidents in Quetta and Islamabad Marriot Hotel, the festivities of Eid are very much different unlike previous years.
People preferred staying home instead going to shop elsewhere because of security issues. Shopping plazas are still waiting for customers. The primary reason being attributed by most shopkeepers is that of price-hike and inflation.
