Janey Pehchanay Ajnabi comes to stage
By SAADIA QAMAR August 27, 2008 All the characters were dressed in black and did put up a wonderful performance, the sheer utterances were reminisces of the past, of days of yonder and childhood, the lost lover in a man, the tarnished hopes of getting married and settling down, the story of those inhabitants called sons, who are mostly scorned off by fathers and lovingly teased by siblings.
The characters talked enthusiastically of days spend in Nani ma’s courtyard. Of sheer self, self speaking volumes on the thought about, ‘if anyone really cares’, of the hopes of seeing the sister pleasantly married off, and quips of a mother who pampered the little boy in his toddler days, now scoffs at his behaviours of having secret girlfriends.
