Doctors' negligence claims life

KARACHI - An infant boy died due to the doctors' negligence here in the limit of Shah Faisal Police Station.

Deceased Samer, seven-month-old, was taken to the Fauji Foundation Hospital for routine check-up where doctors admitted him and injected un-prescribed medicines. Resultantly, the child died within twenty minutes.

Bereaved family along with other relatives gathered at the hospital in order to stage a protest demonstration but the security adopted objectionable attitude towards them. Consequently, a clash took place between the two parties and security guards severely beat up the protesters. However, the police reached the spot and controlled the situation. A case has also been registered against the hospital administration and the negligent doctors, said DSP Raza Hussain Shah.
