Notification to hand over two govt. colleges to trust cancelled
September 29, 2008 Sindh Education department has withdrawn its notification to hand over two government colleges to a private trust. Secretary Sindh Education Rizwan Memon said notification issued for handing over Khatoon-e-Pakistan and Raana Liaquat Ali Khan to a private trust has been cancelled. It may be reminded that all colleges in the city are boycotting academic and non-academic activities in protest against the decision today. Sindh Professors and Lectures-Karachi Region also protested againt the move.
