Teachers behind KU clashes, say intelligence agencies

It was also learnt that the PPP-led coalition government has taken serious notice of the incident and directed the KU administration to take strict action against the miscreants, found involved in the bloody episode. Higher authorities have also asked the KU administration to clean the varsity from such miscreants.

It is pertinent to mention here that in the recent clash, two activists of the IJT and another one affiliated with All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organisation (APMSO) had lost their lives.

When contacted, KU Campus Officer Dr Khalid Iraqi, said that it was difficult to comment on the issue, which is very sensitive, but the university administration had also received some reports mentioning the involvement of some KU people in political activities.
