Shah Faisal Town Rs 387 million budget unveiled

All town council members, TMO Fuzail Bukhari and other town officers attended the session. Karimuddin said the provincial and city governments would transfer Rs 214.2 million as OZT share while other revenue resources include property, betterment tax and conservancy worth Rs 50 million. He said that Rs 300,000 will be generated from renewal of registration of contractors, Rs 300,000 as tender fees, Rs 50 million would be realised from KWSB and CDGK, Rs 10 million from rural octroi tax, Rs 3 million from sale of selling properties and Rs 4 million as grant from SDSSP.

He said that the next year will be a development period for the town as they have decided to carry out uplift schemes in all union councils without any discrimination.
