Violence claims four lives in City

KARACHI - The ethnic violence erupted on Saturday across the metropolitan and claimed four lives while twenty-five people including women and children were injured and around fifty vehicles had been torched. Several shops were set on fire by the miscreants in various localities of the city during the violence, said the police sources.
As per detail, the miscreants have shot dead four passer-bys in different areas of Orangi Town. Apart from this, several have been injured in an incident of firing in Orangi Town and in Metrovel area.
It is pertinent to mention that when Sindh coalition partners PPP, MQM and ANP leaders were holding joint press conference in a bid to maintain peace in the city, many parts of the city witnessed aerial firing and anti peace elements.
According to the reports, the ethnic violence began from Mosa Colony Nazimabad area when some miscreants intercepted a bus and started beating the driver and conductor of the bus.
