MQM starts relief work for quake-hit areas

KARACHI - MQM Rabita Committee member Shoaib Bukhari on Wednesday said that his party has started relief work for the victims of Balochistan earthquake.

Addressing a press conference at KKF head office here, he said that on the directives of MQM chief Altaf Hussain, Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF), immediately started relief operations for the quake-hit people of Balochistan and sent a team of 12 volunteers along with medicines and other necessary items.

MQM Rabita Committee members Ashfaq Mangi and Saleem Ansari were also present on the occasion.

Shoaib Ahmed Bukhari said that London-based NGO Society for Unwell and Needy (SUN) supported the KKF relief programme for the victims of Balochistan earthquake.
