Iftikhar flies to Capital
Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER July 31, 2008 As per details, the deposed CJ and other judges reached Karachi airport amid tight security. Heavy contingents of police and rangers were deployed on the way from Sindh High Court (SHC) to airport. The deposed CJ was accompanied by Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan and other deposed judges and lawyers’ leaders, who came here a day before from Islamabad and Lahore.
The deposed CJP had addressed Sindh High Court Bar on Wednesday, which has prompted tightening of security at SHC and adjoining areas for this occasion, while political party workers were barred from the entering the court premises.
