Secy health records statement of staff

LAHORE - Punjab Secretary Health Anwar A Khan Tuesday visited the Punjab Institute of Mental Health (PIMH) and recorded statements of the senior doctors, admin officials and other paramedical staff following an inquiry launched by the chief minister Punjab against the institute’s Executive Director Dr Mubashar Attique.

The secretary health spent two hours in the institute where most of the doctors, admin officials and consultants complained him about the rude attitude of Executive Director of PIMH Dr Mubashar Attique besides other irregularities he had committed during his posting as ED.

A group of the PIMH consultants, doctors and paramedical staff had visited the Chief Minister Secretariat where they, in an application, levelled serious allegations against Dr Mubashar Attique regarding illegal appointments, misuse of power and rough attitude towards staff of the institute.

The chief minister had marked the application to the complaint cell and deputed Secretary Health Dr Anwar A Khan to probe into the matter.
