CM for evolving strategy to overcome power shortage

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that a comprehensive strategy will have to be evolved to overcome power shortage and short-term and long-term planning will have to be made for the permanent solution of this problem. He said that maximum electricity would have to be supplied to industrial sector for the development and national prosperity. He said that Punjab government was working on different power generation projects. Hydel power and generation of energy through coal reserves was essential to meet the future needs of the country, he added.
