2 Eids celebrated
Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER October 3, 2008 LAHORE - Perhaps for the first time in City’s history, Lahorites celebrated two Eids-one on Wednesday and the other on Thursday.
While majority of people commemorated the carnival on Wednesday in line with the decision of the central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, some Khateebs (prayer leaders) in certain parts of the City, however, led the prayer on Thursday expressing reservations over the decision taken by the supreme body.
